Not accurate

The distance is 50 to 60 yards off all the time.

Fairly accurate, great for backyard practice in the cage and awesome customer service.

Seems pretty accurate. Not perfect but on average it's pretty close when I compare with a range finder. Funny enough, it picks up good shots more accurately then bad... Which probably explains some people's complaints (figure out what I am implying). My kids use it a ton and it's has helped them rise to the top in US Kids golf... And DCP. Customer service has been great. Had to send it back for repair (son shanked a ball into it) and we could not have asked for better service.

Very Helpful Device

The ES12 Launch Monitor performed exactly as advertised. I have been able to dial in all of my clubs distances and it has transformed my game. I no longer have to guess at what yardage each club will go. The ES12 is probably the cheapest launch monitor currently on the market that I know of and it performs very well. If you want to know exactly how far you need to carry a ball with a certain club I'd recommend this launch monitor. Combining the data from the ES12 to a range finder or in my case an iphone app I no longer guess at yardage to a pin. Very helpful device and worth the money if you want to really improve your game quickly.

I use my ES12 to dial in my wedge distances and have enjoyed lower score ever since!

Take it to the range and really get in tune with your distances. Really Happy with the accuracy! Although if shot really offline from sensor not as accurate! But has definitely helped my game!

Great for measuring ball speed, but that's it

The technology in the ES12 is good for doing one thing, measuring ball speed. The unit has logic in it that extrapolates the yardage based on assumptions for launch angle and spin rate. I understand that all of this could not currently be implemented and still meet the price point of $250, which is why I rated it at 3 stars. Unfortunately, I saw no use for this product without the ability to measure launch angle and ball spin rate. Hopefully, the cost of technology will come down enough to include this functionality in a "Pro" version of this product.
