First Time At Driving Range, great results!!
Nice little package. Paired and connected to my Note3 with out problem. Went to driving range and lasered the flags. Wind was low and measured and es14 distances were very close. Perhaps a yard or two off. Worked with my driver and was making some swing changes as the session went. I was able to increase my head speed by 6 MPH while lowering the spin rate from 2400 to 2000.....increased my drives by 20 yds. If your serious about your golf this is a must have tool.
Easy to set up and it works great!
Easy to set up and it works great. On it's own it's not much of a training aid, but is certainly useful in club/shaft selections. It's pretty accurate in my opinion based on sessions I've hit with a Trackman. I use a Swingbyte 2 at the same time to see the swing path and the launch stats at the same time
Especially useful is the ability to email the results of a.
Even using the template for the ES 14 and ball placement it does not consistently register each shot. Other than that the product works as advertised. Especially useful is the ability to email the results of a range session in Excel spreadsheet format so you can see areas of improvement and areas that still need work.
Great for indoor winter distance practice in a driving cage
Great for indoor winter distance practice in a driving cage with real ball. Hooked up to an iPad or other bluetooth device the audio feedback is great. More audio feedback to include club head speed and smash factor would be a very helpful addition to the product. The results email is also great for record keeping over time in a spreadsheet.
Sounded too good to be true..and it was!
This baby has ALL the features I wanted: Ball spin, distance, speaker, etc. BUT, the hackneyed setup that requires you to set it up 14" forward of the tee, and just a few inches to the side makes it absolutely UNUSABLE. It has to be set up in such a position that it totally distracts the golfer---at least this golfer. I have no idea why the engineers could not have made it work more as a "side read" device. I really, REALLY wanted this thing to work. But it just isn't practical. It's too big to avoid errant shots. Just get a Smaller doppler type unit for less money, and save your $$$$$ for a "real" unit like Foresight if you really need the data, but, don't depend on this one. Kudos to Ernest Sports for trying, but...well, PLEASE try again.
