Rapsodo Introduces the MLM2PRO Portable Launch Monitor
The mobile launch monitor category just expanded with the addition of the MLM2PRO from Rapsodo. The MLM2PRO is the successor to the popular and successful Rapsodo MLM that has been on the market for the last few years. The MLM2PRO promises to provide the same pro-level data as its predecessor, while also enhancing the user experience by measuring spin and providing full golf simulation features. The MLM2PRO uses dual cameras and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

With two built-in high speed cameras, the MLM2PRO is a major upgrade from the original MLM, which required the iOS device camera to track ball flight. Shot Vision: The wide angle “Shot Vision” camera records a video with shot trace for every shot. Now you can see swing videos complete with shot-tracer for visualization of ball flight. Watch your swings in slow-motion replay and immediately pair the feeling of your swing with the outcome of your shot
Impact Vision: The 240-fps high speed shutter captures a series of photos that are visualized in the MLM2PRO Mobile App as a short video – allowing players to view their impact on every swing.
Swing Vision: As a dual swing replay, with the MLM2PRO paired with a phone or tablet the feature allows for multiple angles of each golf swing. The golfer can now capture down-the-line and face-on swing replay videos to get even more out of their practice time.
The MLM2PRO provides even more advanced data for golfers from its unique partnership with Callaway Golf. Utilizing a custom-marked Callaway RPT Chrome Soft X golf ball, the MLM2PRO will be able to measure the ball’s spin rate and spin axis. This will provide the golfer with a total of 6 measured metrics, including the spin rate and spin axis, club head speed, ball speed, launch angle, and launch direction. Other metrics provided include carry and total distance, descent angle, apex, shot type, side carry, and smash factor.
For golfers who want to play indoor at some of the world-renowned championship venues on their bucket list, the MLM2PRO includes golf simulation capabilities. This new feature includes Rapsodo Courses, which will consist of over 30,000 courses globally, and Rapsodo Range, a virtual driving range to hone skills in a practice environment. The MLM2PRO Premium Membership gives golfers an extensive list of thousands of course options to select and play from virtually anywhere in the world. Additionally, the MLM2PRO is compatible with multiple simulation software providers including E6 Connect and Awesome Golf.
