Getting Started

Charging Your SkyTrak

Charge your SkyTrak before your first use.

  1. Connect the Micro-USB charging cable (included) to the charging port on the side of the SkyTrak unit.
  2. The bottom LED light will illuminate yellow to indicate that the unit is charging.
  3. The bottom LED will turn off when the unit is fully charged.
 

We recommend charging your SkyTrak after every practice session.

* Three red LED's indicate that the internal battery is critically low and should be charged immediately.

Important: The Skytrak System Must be charged for no less than 6 hours prior to first use.

1. Download The Skytrak App to your device (iOS, android, or PC)

Search for "Skytrak" in. the app store of the device you will be using to run the software:

The SkyTrak App is available as a free download for iOS users in the App Store.

Android users can download via Google Play.

Windows PC users can also download the SkyTrak app for free by clicking here.

2. Register Your SkyTrak

  1. Launch the SkyTrak app on your iPad or PC

  2. If you already have a SkyGolf/SkyCaddie account, log in using your account credentials. If you don't have a SkyGolf/SkyCaddie account, click on the "Create Account" option to create a SkyTrak online account.

  3. Select the profile menu from the top right corner

  4. Click on the "About" section in the lower right hand corner.

  5. Select "Register" to register your SkyTrak. Your SkyTrak's serial number will be displayed and your SkyTrak will be registered.

3. Pair Your Skytrak with your device

iPad (or iOS Device)

SkyTrak can connect to your iPad either through direct Wi-Fi or through your home network.  Whenever possible, we recommend connecting through your network router so that you have access to SkyTrak's full list of features.  If you do not have a wireless network, you can always connect the SkyTrak unit directly to your iPad and the next time your iPad connects to the internet, all of your data will sync to your SkyGolf360 account.  Follow these steps to connect your SkyTrak device for either scenario:

Direct Wi-Fi Connection (NO access to the internet)

  1. Power on the SkyTrak unit
  2. Go to your iOS Wi-Fi settings and choose the Wi-Fi network that begins with "SKYTRAK"
  3. Open the SkyTrak app and follow the opening setup screens for a Direct Connection.
 

Network Connection (You WILL have simultaneous access to the internet)

  1. Power on the SkyTrak unit
  2. Go to your iOS Wi-Fi settings and choose the Wi-Fi network that begins with "SKYTRAK"
  3. Open the SkyTrak app and follow the opening setup screens for a Network Connection.
  4. Configure your wireless network in the app so that the next time you try to use SkyTrak, you will not have to repeat this process.

PC Device

SkyTrak can connect to your PC either through direct Wi-Fi, through your home network, or via a direct USB connection. Follow these steps to connect your SkyTrak device for either scenario:

Direct Wi-Fi Connection (NO access to the internet)

  1. Power on the SkyTrak unit
  2. Click on the Wifi icon on your PC and select "SKYTRAK"
 

Network Connection (You WILL have simultaneous access to the internet)

SkyTrak can use your Wifi home network to pair with your PC by connecting to your wireless router, just like your computer and cell phones do. SkyTrak will communicate with the software on your PC through your router. Plus, you'll still have access to the internet on your PC while running the SkyTrak.

 

USB Cable Connection

  1. Connect the micro USB cable to the SkyTrak and a USB port on your PC
