Make sure you can swing your club comfortably in your desired space, as you may need more than 9' high ceilings if your swing requires it. You can always place your setup in a space that is larger than the recommended space requirements.

The resources below will walk you through the assembly portion of your new frame and screen. Using the color coded pipe kit and connectors, set up your frame first then attach your black surround, impact screen, foam padding, and side barrier netting.

Trackman 4 Launch Monitor
The Trackman 4 utilizes patented optically enhanced radar tracking technology to capture golf ball and golf club data parameters. Two Radar Sensors are built into the unit, one tracking short range for club data and a long range high accuracy bal tracking system.
With Trackman you are getting a full range of club and ball data — more than 40 parameters — on every shot in your arsenal.
Club Data: Club Speed, Attack Angle, Dynamic Loft, Club Path, Face Angle, Face to Path, Spin Loft, Swing Plane, Swing Direction, Low Point, Impact Height, Impact Offset, Dynamic Lie, Low Point Side, Low Point Height, Swing Radius, D Plane Tilt.
Putting Data: TrackMan 4 offers specialized putting analysis metrics such as stroke length, tempo, and speed control.
Indoor & Outdoor Unit
The Trackman 4 can be set up indoors with a full golf simulator setup or it can be used outdoors at the golf course range. For practice sessions indoors you will want to ensure you have enough distance between your Trackman 4 and your golf ball as well as the correct distance between the ball and screen.
7' optimal distance between TM4 to ball (6' minimum, 9'6" maximum)
12' Optimal ball flight distance to impact screen (10' minimum)
If you plan on continuing your trackman journey outdoors you will need to ensure there is at least 7' of space between the golf ball and the Trackman 4 Launch Monitor

The Trackman 4 requires a minimum of 15 feet of ball flight space in front of the hitting position when used indoors. It was engineered for outdoor range use first, and while it performs well indoors, the room depth requirement is a real constraint for tight residential builds. If your indoor space is under 15 feet deep, the Trackman iO is the more appropriate Trackman solution.
The Trackman 4 is the better choice if you also work outdoors — on a range, at a course, or in a teaching environment — because it's portable and performs exceptionally well with full ball flight. For a dedicated indoor simulator room, the iO is the stronger investment: designed for that environment, with no room-depth requirement and no repositioning between players.
The Trackman 4 runs exclusively on Trackman Performance Studio (TPS). TPS includes virtual course play, range practice, challenge modes, swing video, and online competitions. It does not natively support GSPro or E6 Connect. A one-year TPS subscription is included at purchase.
Yes — the Trackman 4 is one of the most capable dual-use launch monitors available. Outdoors it tracks full ball flight with up to 40 measured parameters. Indoors it performs well with appropriate room depth. Many teaching professionals use the Trackman 4 specifically because it travels between the outdoor range and an indoor hitting bay without compromising data quality.
Both are trusted at tour level but measure spin differently. The Trackman 4 uses Doppler radar to track trajectory and extracts spin from that data. The GCQuad uses four high-speed cameras to directly image the ball at and just after impact. For outdoor use with full ball flight, Trackman 4 spin data is extremely reliable. For short indoor shots, direct photometric measurement has an edge on spin accuracy.
