Bushnell Wingman HD: a color touchscreen GPS that is also a cart speaker
The Wingman HD is Bushnell Golf's newest GPS speaker, and the first in the Wingman line with a screen big enough to read a hole from the cart. A 3.5-inch color HD touchscreen shows large front, center and back distances, a full HoleView layout, a GreenView image of the putting surface and on-screen hazard and layup icons. Paired with the Bushnell Golf Mobile App, it delivers those distances both on screen and as audible call-outs, so you can keep your eyes on the shot ahead.
Sound built for the course
Two 15-watt drivers work with two passive radiators to deliver 360-degree sound with deep bass, so everyone on the cart and around the green hears the music. Concert Links mode lets you link the Wingman HD with other Wingman HD speakers, up to 100 of them, for a group outing. A built-in USB port can also top up your phone, at the cost of some of the speaker's own charge.
Distances, hazards and scoring on the screen
- Front, center and back: large, easy-to-read yardages, with center changing to the pin if you move the pin in the app.
- Hazards and layups: up to six hazard distances per hole, shown with icons.
- Live scoring: enter scores and review the scorecard on the touchscreen.
- Shot distance: start the calculator at your ball, then pause it when you reach your next shot.
- MyBag: link a Foresight Sports account to bring personalised club distances into the Bushnell Golf App.
Mounts in seconds, shrugs off the weather
Bushnell's integrated BITE magnetic cart mount snaps the speaker to a cart bar, and the included lanyard and carabiner let you hang it from a bag or a push cart instead. The Wingman HD is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance. Like a phone, the bright screen can warm up in direct sun, so Bushnell recommends keeping it shaded where you can.
Battery and charging
The built-in lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 8 hours of use, which varies with volume and screen use. It charges over USB-C from a laptop or wall adapter in about 3 to 5 hours, and a 5V/2A adapter or USB 3.0 port charges it fastest.
The Bushnell Golf App
The free Bushnell Golf Mobile App for iPhone and Android pairs the speaker, starts your round, records custom sound bites and first-tee introductions, and delivers firmware updates. An optional Bushnell Golf Plus subscription adds green heat maps, wind speed and direction, slope-adjusted distances and conditions-based PlayAs yardages. Bushnell covers the Wingman HD with a one-year limited warranty.
