Questions we hear most

Full Swing Golf Simulator FAQs

How much does a Full Swing golf simulator cost?

The Full Swing KIT launch monitor is $4,999 on its own. A complete Full Swing KIT golf simulator package with an enclosure and impact screen starts at $5,948.99 with our SIG DIY Studio, and our SIG8, SIG10 and SIG12 packages add a projector, ceiling mount, turf and hitting mat. Garage and golf net bundles sit in between.

Plan for software too. The Full Swing app is free. Full Swing lists its Premium App at $99 per year and Full Swing GOLF for KIT at $499 per year. Full Swing's large Pro 2.0 and Sport Series simulators are separate products that start at $54,900 and $44,900 on Full Swing's site.

What is the Full Swing KIT launch monitor?

The KIT is Full Swing's portable launch monitor. It uses a patented 24GHz dual-mode radar and a built-in Full HD camera that records your swing at 60 frames per second. It tracks 16 club and ball data points with no extra unlock, including ball speed, club speed, spin rate, spin axis, face angle, face to path, club path, attack angle, launch angle and carry distance. It has a 5.3 inch OLED display and a battery that lasts about 5 hours.

How much space do you need for a Full Swing KIT?

Indoors, Full Swing asks for 8 to 10 feet of ball flight from the ball to your screen or net, and 8 to 10 feet of space behind the ball for the KIT. That works out to about 16 to 20 feet of total room depth. Outdoors, set the KIT 10 feet behind the ball.

Ceiling height depends on your swing and the enclosure. Our SIG10 frame is 8'4" tall and our SIG12 frame is 9'4" tall, so take a full swing with a driver in the room before you order. If your swing needs more height or the room is shallow, our team can help you pick a size that fits.

Does the Full Swing KIT require a subscription?

No. Every KIT includes the free Full Swing app on iOS and Android with all 16 data points and video replay. Full Swing also lists free gameplay through e6 CONNECT. Paid options are the Full Swing Premium App at $99 per year, which adds full historical data, and Full Swing GOLF for KIT at $499 per year. GSPro and e6 course packages are sold separately.

Does the Full Swing KIT work with GSPro?

Yes. Full Swing lists GSPro for PC as compatible with the KIT. GSPro gives you 500+ courses, 4K graphics and a large online community, with club and ball data coming from the KIT. You need a gaming PC and a GSPro license, which are sold separately. The KIT also works with e6 CONNECT on iPhone and iPad.

Can you use the Full Swing KIT indoors and outdoors?

Yes. Full Swing says the KIT works on the range, on the course, at home and indoors. Its radar reads the ball outdoors from 10 feet behind, and indoors it needs 8 to 10 feet of ball flight to a screen or net. It comes with a light, water and impact resistant carry case, so it is easy to move between your simulator and the range.

What is the Full Swing KIT Studio?

KIT Studio is Full Swing's own all-in-one setup built around the KIT, with an enclosure and screen or a net, a projector, side barriers, turf, hitting mats and an optional touchscreen PC package. Full Swing lists it starting at $11,500.

Our Full Swing KIT packages are a different route to the same goal. We pair the KIT with our own SIG enclosures, DIY studio, garage screens or nets, and you can choose your screen size, hitting mat and software. Our SIG DIY Studio, for example, comes in 10 frame sizes so you can match the screen to your room.

Which Full Swing KIT package should I choose?

Start with your room. The SIG8 fits smaller rooms with an 8' wide screen. The SIG10 is our most popular size and fills a 10' wide screen. The SIG12 is the largest at 12' wide. If you want to pick your own frame size, look at the SIG DIY Studio. If the room is a garage you still park in, the Garage package uses a retractable G-TRAK screen. For practice without a projector, choose the golf net bundle.

How accurate is the Full Swing KIT?

Full Swing says the KIT was tested and is trusted by Tiger Woods and other PGA TOUR players. It measures the ball with radar and adds a high-resolution camera for video replay, and Full Swing uses machine learning to refine its radar readings. You get all 16 data points without paying to unlock them.
