On Fiberbuilt Grass Series mats, can you hit off of the Performance Turf stance sections?
- Yes. While we recommend hitting off the Fiberbuilt Grass hitting panels for maximum longevity and the most comfort for your joints, you are also able to hit off the Performance Turf areas. You can also place real tees in the Performance Turf. You will notice a difference in the feel between the two hitting surfaces as Fiberbuilt Grass allows the clubhead to slide down and through more than the Performance Turf, which is a more dense hitting surface.
How stiff is the base of this mat? I need to be able to stand up against a wall after I’m done using it.

The rubber base components have some flex to them. Because of the assembled size and weight of the mat, it would be unrealistic to lift the mat and put it against the wall in one assembled piece. It would be relatively easy, however, to break down the modular base and stack the pieces along with the turf and hitting panel components.
For my left-handed golf friends, how easy is it to turn the single-hitting mat around so southpaw users could use it?

If you are regularly having both right- and left-handed golfers use the same mat, we would recommend a different mat as this mat is fairly large and heavy, and the components would pull apart if you regularly tried to turn it around. Consider either the 9'x4' Center-Hitting or the 10'x4' Double-Hitting Studio Mats, which both accommodate both right- and left-handed players without having to turn the mat.
