When you want Fiberbuilt Grass in the smallest footprint, the Fiberbuilt Grass Series 7' x 4' Single-Hitting Studio Mat is the one. It pairs a 4' x 4' Performance Turf stance mat with a 1' x 4' Fiberbuilt Grass hitting section (with four tee holes) and a 2' x 4' spacer panel that is ideal for a launch monitor or a ball tray.
Small Mat, Full Studio Performance
At 85" wide x 49" deep x 2" high the mat fits garages and spare rooms where a 10-foot mat will not, and with fewer pieces it assembles quickly. It weighs 141 lbs, so it stays planted. The 2' spacer is the ideal spot for face-on optical launch monitors such as Foresight, SkyTrak and Bushnell, which sit beside the ball.
Durability and Injury Prevention
The hitting section is genuine Fiberbuilt Grass with Fiberbuilt's 300,000-shot guarantee, the same surface used in the larger studio mats. Each 1' x 4' Fiberbuilt Grass hitting panel has four tee holes that take the included 2.625" rubber tees or the friction-fit real tee holders, so you can hit driver off a real wooden tee at the height you like.
Setup and Care
Fiberbuilt recommends a firm, level surface: concrete, packed gravel, asphalt, patio stones or a solid deck outdoors, and concrete or carpet indoors. Do not install it on bare ground or grass. On carpet the mat can creep with the grain, and Fiberbuilt suggests light-duty two-way carpet tape under the frame; on outdoor concrete, a 2% slope helps water drain from under the mat.
Care is simple. Fiberbuilt recommends pressure washing the hitting panels about once a year (more often under heavy use) and the Performance Turf every few months, because sand and dirt in the nylon fibers wear it out. Rotating panels 180 degrees spreads the wear, and the rubber foundation can be swept or pressure washed.

Heavy duty base and turf. Does not move around at all. The hitting surface is very nice. If you dig into it with your club it slows your momentum and you’ll loose distance. If you hit it correctly and take a little divot it’s like hitting off real grass. I put my SkyTrak on the small side and it doesn’t move around at all no matter how many times you swing. I would definitely recommend this.

It took a few months to get it. It was backordered. But it finally came in. Not too difficult to put together. Very well manufactured. Its difficult to move. And when you do, it doesn't stay together very well. But overall, I'm pleased.
