Protee VX Launch Monitor

The ProTee VX is a ceiling-mounted (overhead) golf launch monitor from ProTee United, built for permanent indoor golf simulator setups. Two high-speed cameras above the hitting area measure ball and club data on every shot. No marked balls or special golf balls are required.

Best for: golfers building a dedicated simulator room who want full club data with nothing on the floor. The 25" x 21" hitting zone lets right- and left-handed players hit from the same spot without moving or recalibrating the unit. Compared with a portable unit like the Foresight GC3, the VX is a permanent install that captures more club data with no required software subscription.

Room and mounting: mount the VX on a ceiling between 9' and 10' high. At 10', mount it 3'7" in front of the hitting area; at 9', 3'4" in front. Recommended simulator room: 14' wide x 18' deep with a 9'6" ceiling.

Dual High Speed Camera System

The VX features dual high speed cameras to track ball and club data while also recording the impact between the club and ball. With the VX there is no need to use marked balls to track ball data, the dual high speed cameras can easily read and track any golf ball being used.

The VX features a large hitting zone measuring 25" x 21". Large enough for both right and left handed golfers to swing without needing to recalibrate!

ProTee VX is designed to be effortless—even if you’re installing a golf simulator for the first time. With the included mounting plate and hardware, you can go from unboxing to swinging in just minutes. No complicated calibration or technical expertise required. Being a ceiling mounted unit, the ProTee VX is perfect for right handed players and left handed players, no recalibration or repositioning needed. Switch between golfers instantly, making it ideal for families or groups with mixed handedness.

No need to move the unit or recalibrate when needing to switch golf handedness. This feature is great for golfers wanting to play with groups who may not have the same style or swing! Experience nearly instant feedback, your shot data and video replay appear on screen in less than a second after each swing. The intuitive software layout displays your results clearly, so you can review and adjust right away.

INtuitive Software

The ProTee VX comes equipped with a software user interface that displays ball, club, and flight data, along with video replays of club-at-impact and ball spin.

A key benefit of the ProTee VX is that all core features are unlocked from day one—there are no hidden fees or mandatory subscriptions to access your data or use third-party software.

Software and subscriptions: includes ProTee Labs software for practice, data review and impact video. Connects directly to GSPro. E6 Connect and Creative Golf 3D are supported but may need a separately purchased connector. No subscription is required, and all core features are unlocked from day one. The Golf Club 2019 is no longer supported as of spring 2025.

PC requirements: Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), Intel i9-9xxx or AMD Ryzen 9, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia RTX 3080 or AMD RX 6800XT, 30 GB free disk space.

Great system

Already seen great improvement in my swing with the feedback I get from the system. And it’s a lot more enjoyable playing golf with it.

I love this overhead launch monitor. It's accurate and very simple to use. It's so much better than floor monitors. My golf sim is amazing with this upgrade. I have to force myself to take breaks to recover.
