Introducing SIGPRO™ Softy: The Future of Indoor Golf
After hearing from customers and trying all the golf mats the industry has to offer, we discovered that there was room for major improvement. Common feedback on other mats was that they were either too forgiving, too grabby, or didn't take a real tee. Golfers also reported that mats didn't look good, hurt their joints, were too heavy, or didn't feel like an actual course. Through many long hours of brainstorming and rigorous testing, we decided to develop the perfect mat for the everyday golfer. The SIGPRO™ Softy Golf Mat solves these problems by providing a strong, soft, durable, and realistic hitting surface that feels like a natural addition to any setup.
Experience Realistic Fairway Feel
The SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' Golf Mat delivers an authentic hitting experience, designed to replicate the feel of a well-maintained fairway, akin to prestigious courses like Augusta or Pinehurst. This compact golf mat is ideal for home simulator setups and practice with a golf net, especially in smaller rooms. Its construction prioritizes both realism and golfer comfort, allowing you to practice frequently without discomfort. The mat measures 4' x 7' x 2.5" and weighs 21 lbs, featuring a thick foam backing for stability. It incorporates a 28" x 12" hitting strip that is engineered to provide true feedback on every shot, ensuring your ball flight accurately aligns with launch monitor data. This design ensures that whether you hit a perfect shot or a mishit, you receive clear and immediate feedback, enhancing your practice sessions.
Advanced Design for Joint Protection
The SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' is engineered with golfer well-being in mind, featuring a DNA-joint-friendly design that significantly reduces strain on wrists, elbows, and other joints. This is achieved through a super soft foam insert core positioned beneath a 1-inch thick Teeline turf layer, which mimics real grass. Unlike harder practice surfaces, this mat allows your club to slide smoothly through the turf rather than digging into a rigid base. A responsive ABS polyurethane layer further enhances comfort by absorbing impact and allowing the turf to flex and quickly return to its original shape. Three strategically placed compression slots on the bottom of the mat act as air-release valves, dissipating air pressure upon impact to provide a smooth follow-through without harsh vibrations. This thoughtful construction makes it suitable for everyday golfers who hit a lot of shots and prioritize injury prevention during their practice.
Designed for the Everyday Golfer
The SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' Golf Mat was developed after extensive feedback from everyday golfers and rigorous testing of various mats on the market. It addresses common concerns such as excessive forgiveness, a 'grabby' feel, or the inability to use a real tee. This mat is specifically designed for golfers who practice regularly and prioritize both joint protection and realistic turf interaction. It offers a balanced option, providing a premium feel without being overly soft, striking a perfect balance between comfort and clear feedback. Whether you are setting up a compact DIY golf simulator or simply practicing with a net, this mat is built to enhance your indoor golf experience. Its moderate forgiveness makes it softer than traditional mats but firmer than the Super Softy variant, catering to a wide range of golfers.

United StatesJust What I Wanted
I decided on this mat after extensive research, looking for something that would be easy on my joints. It has lived up to all of my expectations in my home indoor practice area. I elected to use a net and launch monitor instead of a full simulator.

United StatesGreat mat
Quality of the mat is excellent. The most realistic mat I’ve hit off of, especially for fat shots. Customer service is great, but it would be nice to talk to somebody when you call, not have to wait for a call back.
CanadaAmazing
Best iron shots I have ever hit was off this mat the first day I took it out of the box. The hitting strip gives me a ton of confidence knowing I’m not going to injure myself. Wedge shots are a chef’s kiss. Absolutely love it and I’m glad I spent the money. Will recommend the SIGPRO softy to anyone.

Learn More About The SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' Golf Mat
Unmatched Durability and Replaceable Hitting Strip
Built for longevity, the SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' Golf Mat is designed to withstand tens of thousands of shots, making durability a non-issue for frequent practitioners. This mat is proudly made in the USA, reflecting a commitment to quality without cutting corners. A key feature contributing to its extended lifespan is the easily swappable hitting strip. When the primary hitting area eventually shows wear, you can replace just the 28" x 12" SIGPRO Softy Hitting Strip for approximately $250, rather than needing to purchase an entirely new mat, which could cost around $1,000. This innovative design ensures that your investment is protected and that you can maintain a consistent, high-quality hitting surface over many years of use. The mat is specifically intended for indoor use and storage, ensuring its performance remains consistent shot after shot within your golf simulator room.
Authentic Tee Experience and Feedback
One of the standout features of the SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' Golf Mat is its ability to accommodate a real wooden tee at any height you prefer. This provides a more authentic and customizable tee shot experience compared to mats that require rubber tees or have fixed tee positions. The 1-inch (25 mm) Teeline turf is engineered to feel like real grass off the club, offering accurate feedback on both well-struck shots and mishits. This realistic strike response is crucial for golfers looking to improve their game, as it clearly differentiates between clean contact and fat shots. The mat's design ensures that the feel and feedback are consistent, allowing you to trust your practice sessions and translate improvements directly to the course. This attention to detail makes the SIGPRO Softy an excellent choice for golfers seeking a true-to-life practice environment.
