Trackman iO Duo features
The Trackman iO Duo is two ceiling-mounted Trackman iO launch monitors on one bracket, so right- and left-handed golfers can share a bay 9'6" to 14' wide. Each unit tracks ball and club data with radar, infrared and a high-speed camera, with no marked balls or stickers.

Trackman iO Duo: one bay, right- and left-handed golfers
In an indoor golf setting, space is often at a premium. The Trackman iO Duo puts two Trackman iO launch monitors on a single ceiling mounting bracket, one above a right-handed tee area and one above a left-handed tee area. Both kinds of player can then hit comfortably in a bay that is too narrow for a single, centred hitting area. Trackman describes the Duo as its answer for bays as narrow as 10 feet, and its installation guide covers spaces from 9'6" up to 14' wide. If your bay is less than 14' wide and needs to serve both right- and left-handed golfers, the Duo is the solution.
Two iOs, one wing
Each iO is the same indoor-optimised unit Trackman sells on its own. It combines 24 GHz radar, an embedded infrared light system and a high-speed camera (up to 4,600 frames per second) to measure ball and club data, including directly measured 3D spin and spin axis, with no marked balls, no club stickers and no extra lighting. The Duo's mounting bracket, often called the wing, keeps the two units parallel and the right distance apart, and hides the cabling when it is screwed directly to the ceiling. On higher ceilings each unit can hang from a VESA 100x100 drop pole instead.
Three positions for different bay widths
- Position I (large bay): 11'6" to 14' wide, units 3'7" (110 cm) apart.
- Position II (medium bay): 10'4" to 11'6" wide, units 4'3" (130 cm) apart.
- Position III (small bay): 9'6" to 10'4" wide, units 4'11" (150 cm) apart.
Software built for two-sided play
In Virtual Golf, a dynamic aim line offsets automatically when a golfer addresses the ball from the right- or left-hand side, and Shot Analysis adds a new aim point. The Duo runs Trackman Performance Studio (TPS) and Virtual Golf 3 on a Windows PC.
Choose your edition
- Home Edition: 70 courses, 4 games, range and target practice, on-course practice, tournaments and online play, all 14 ball data parameters and club speed. The first year of software is included, then Trackman charges USD 700 a year.
- Complete Edition: all 500+ courses and every game, all practice modes, shot analysis and all 9 club data parameters, at USD 1,100 a year.
- Commercial Edition: for golf businesses, with the full club data set.
Before you buy
The Duo mounts from 9'4" to 10'6" above the hitting surface. Trackman does not offer the Duo at the iO's lowest mounting height because of follow-through clearance. The tee must sit at least 8'6" from the screen, on green turf. Each iO connects to the PC over Cat 6 Ethernet through a 1 Gb network switch, and the switch and cables are not included. The iO Duo uses two Trackman iO launch monitors, each tracking ball and club data. The Duo also brings two features of its own:
- Dynamic aim line in Virtual Golf: automatically offsets when the golfer moves and addresses the ball from either the right or left side.
- Aim point: the dynamic aim line in Shot Analysis adds a new aim point.

The Trackman iO Duo makes it easy to decide the positioning needed for your bay:
