The Original Putting Green & Chipping Mat by Big Moss
The Original is Big Moss' compact putting and chipping green: 3 feet wide and 9 feet long, with one cup. It is built for practicing the short "money" putts from 7 feet and in, the ones that decide most rounds. Thanks to its built-in down-grain layout, Big Moss says it rolls like a freshly cut bent grass green. It is handcrafted by Big Moss in Spring Grove, Illinois. Made for small spaces and new golfers
The Original suits junior golfers, beginners and anyone with limited space. It rolls out in an office, a spare room or a hallway, and putts or chips back and forth just like the larger Big Moss greens. Big Moss also makes the Original in 3' x 12' (EX1) and 3' x 15' (EX2) lengths.
What the V2 changed
- Wrinkle-free surface: a new rubber-backed surface, about 28% heavier, that lays flat even over carpeting.
- Removable foundation: a higher-density foundation lets you practice dead-flat putts.
- Break Pads: place them under the surface to create unlimited contours.
- Stadium backstop: wraps around the green and pins in place with golf tees.
- Upgraded chipping mat, plus a new cup sleeve and flag base for the regulation cup.
The cup configuration is unchanged.
Indoors or out
Big Moss's V2 owner's manual says the V2 surface is weather resistant, so all V2 greens are safe for outdoor use. Indoors, it performs best on hardwood, tile, concrete or low-pile carpet. Vacuum it regularly, and store it in a loose, even roll with nothing heavy on top so the surface does not crimp.
Quick setup

Realistic
good investment for some between round putting. Doesn't stay completely flat on some types of carpet, but works perfect on my tile or hardwood floors.
Best Practice Green Available
Thank you for making these greens available for us to use. 5 stars is not enough, should be a ten. In golf terms you have hit an ace. The prices are at a point that most golfers can afford to buy them and practice in their office or house. The feel of the green is perfect. I would not recommend any other brand of green. I am hoping to upgrade to a larger one and have an entire room to play golf in.

Great Purchase
I had rotator cuff surgery recently so the only thing I can do right now is putt. I decided to purchase an indoor putting green so I can at least practice my putting. I went to my local golf store and was amazed at how cheap and flimsy the putting greens are. Even the assistant manager discouraged me from buying one. So I left the store empty handed and decided to search online. After I viewed all the online products, I decided to go with Big Moss. When I received my green and rolled it out on the floor I was amazed.This thing is like a real green.You can putt 4 balls into the hole, and even add a 5th with the right speed.If you are going to purchase a green,go with Big Moss. They have several models. I bought the original because I am limited on space.Trust me on this, the greens are somewhat pricey, but the quality is worth it.It even comes with a putting sword, and it has really improved my putting stroke. This little gadget is not a gimmick, it really works.
Nothing to write home about
Nothing to write home about. It was just ok. We have not been able to get it to have a slope where you can get the ball in. We had it at a trade show and only two people out of a couple hundred were able to sink the ball. We had people complaining saying that we rigged it.
