I was expecting much more from my 4K laser projector. The picture is not bad. It’s just not crisp at all. I’ve done all I can do it’s not going to get any better. I even took it down and put up a much less expensive LED projector and all the text is much more defined. I have been in touch with BenQ and checked everything they wanted me to check. They asked me for some specific information which I emailed them back with and after four days I’ve had no more communication back from them. Disappointing. Even playing 4K movies through it was disappointing. Same issue when compared to using a standard HD LED projector. Everything else I’ve purchased from the indoor golf shop has been perfect. They have great customer service and have answered every question I’ve had. This Projectors quality is certainly not their problem. BenQ, I expected more from you.

About a week after I ordered this really top grade projector, I learned that it was about 5 times the projector that I needed for my indoor golf simulator. but it was too late to cancel as it had already shipped. I contacted a customer rep. at Indoor Golf Shop and he made it so easy for me to return it and checked on it then instantly refunded my money down and cancelled the insurance I had bought for it and refunded that as well. Also, cancelled my financing with Bread. Very understanding and so helpful!

So I haven’t opened the box yet as my building contractor is not finished with the space. I’m excited to use it but cannot yet. Wondering if the warranty starts the day you order it or if there is some way to start it upon first use. As I am still not sure when exactly I will open the box to install it
