Cimarron Golf Barrier Netting – Stop Golf Balls Before They Do Damage

Anyone who has parked beside a driving range or lived along a fairway knows the sound of a golf ball finding a car or a window. Wherever many people practice their swing, extra safeguards are needed. Cimarron Golf Barrier Netting is an affordable impact netting solution, built to absorb the hardest-hit golf balls and create a barrier that protects structures, vehicles and other valuables.

Where Barrier Netting Is Used

You will find barrier netting at driving ranges and golf courses, around parks, behind homes and along roadways. It is the netting you see on tall poles at the edge of a range, beside a tee box that faces a road, or behind a home on a golf course. Unlike a practice net that you hit into a few feet away, barrier netting stands at the boundary of a property and catches the shots that would otherwise leave it.

Three Sizes

We offer the netting in three sizes, listed as height x length: 15' x 150', 25' x 100' and 25' x 150'. The 15-foot height suits lower boundaries such as a backyard fence line, while the 25-foot panels give more vertical coverage where balls come in higher. Choose the length that covers your boundary with the fewest seams.

Heavy-Duty 7/8" Polyethylene Mesh

The netting is made of heavy-duty 7/8" mesh in UV-treated polyethylene, chosen for maximum sunlight life outdoors. It is water resistant, it does not shrink, and it comes in black, which keeps the barrier discreet against trees and sky. Rather than a rope border, several meshes are sewn together along the top and bottom to create a finished border.

Installation

Poles are not included. Cimarron recommends reaching out to a local fence company for installation, with about 25 feet between poles. A professional installer will set the poles to the right depth for your soil and wind, tension the netting correctly, and make sure the barrier stands up to years of weather. Plan the pole layout before you order so you choose a length that fits it.

Built to Last

Cimarron Sports builds its sports equipment to remain durable for as long as it is needed, and its golf nets are manufactured to high standards. Barrier netting lives outside year-round, so the UV treatment, water resistance and no-shrink construction matter: they keep the barrier tight and effective season after season. The Golf Barrier Netting comes with a one-year manufacturer defect warranty.

Planning Your Barrier

Start by walking the boundary you need to protect and noting where balls actually come from: the direction of play, the typical height of shots crossing the line, and anything valuable behind it. That tells you whether a 15' or 25' height is right and how much length you need. Remember to plan the pole layout at about 25 feet apart, and talk to a local fence company early; they can advise on pole size, footing and tensioning for your site.

Once it is installed, the black netting blends into its surroundings, so it protects without dominating the view. Walk the line from time to time to check that the netting is tight and the border is secure, especially after storms. Good installation and a quick seasonal check keep the barrier doing its job for years.

Looking for a Practice Net Instead?

Barrier netting protects a boundary; it is not designed as a hitting net for home practice. If you want a net to hit into in the backyard or garage, browse our golf nets collection or our best golf nets guide, and see the full Cimarron Sports range for nets, frames and accessories.

Keeps my house safe from the hackers

We live adjacent from the 3rd tee box at our club. It takes almost a 90 degree shank to hit it towards our house. Bozo's still manage to do it. The net spares us from non-stop insurance claims.

Protection for Every Boundary

Barrier netting is the safeguard that lets driving ranges, golf courses, parks and homes beside a fairway sit next to cars, windows and roads. Hung between poles at the edge of a property, it catches wayward shots before they leave it, absorbing the hardest-hit golf balls with a heavy-duty 7/8" mesh.

The netting is UV-treated polyethylene built for maximum sunlight life. It is water resistant, it does not shrink, and the black color keeps the barrier discreet. A sewn top and bottom border replaces a rope border for a clean, finished edge.
