Foresight Sports GC2 FAQ
The Foresight Sports GC2 starts shipping mid-october 2026.
The GC2 is $1,699 and includes 30 days of Foresight+ Gold with Course Pass Pro. After the trial, Foresight+ is available as a Free tier, Silver ($199/year), or Gold ($599/year).
No. The Free tier gives you core data views in the Foresight app and Premier, with your last 10 sessions saved. A paid tier adds unlimited history, drills, and more. To play virtual courses you need Silver or Gold plus a Course Pass ($295/year for 35 courses, or $595/year for all 111).
Not for practice. Your numbers display on the unit's screen, and the Foresight app works on your phone. To play courses on a simulator screen with Foresight Premier, you'll need a Windows gaming PC with at least an NVIDIA RTX 4060. Premier does not run on Mac.
The original GC2 launched in 2010 at $6,500. The new GC2 starts at $1,699 and is slimmer and lighter, with a built-in color display and access to Foresight's current software, Foresight Premier and the Foresight app. Both use two cameras and work indoors and outdoors. The original GC2 could add club data with the HMT add-on; the new GC2 measures ball data only.
The GC2 measures 14 ball data parameters: carry, total distance, ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, back spin, side spin, total spin, spin axis, offline, peak height, descent angle, hang time, and curve. It does not measure club data, and it doesn't require marked balls.
Yes. The GC2 works indoors and outdoors, and its built-in lithium-ion battery lasts 5–7 hours on the range or the course.
The GC2 launch monitor, 30 days of Foresight+ Gold Membership with Course Pass Pro, a power adapter and cable, an alignment stick, and a 1-year warranty.
