Landing Pad Turf Built for the SIG8 Enclosure
The Landing Pad Mat for the SIG8 Golf Simulator Enclosure is the turf that fills the floor between your hitting mat and the impact screen. It is cut to the footprint of the SIG8 golf simulator enclosure, so once it is down the floor inside the enclosure reads as one finished surface instead of bare concrete or carpet with a mat sitting on top.
Overall the pad measures 8'2" wide by 8' long and is 1/2" thick. It is made in the USA from nylon turf and ships as two landing pad halves rolled together in a single box, which keeps the package to a manageable size for delivery to a home or garage.
Why a landing pad matters
Every shot that hits the screen drops to the floor in front of it. On a hard surface those balls bounce and roll back toward the hitting area; on the landing pad they land on turf and settle. The pad also protects the floor underneath from the steady drop of golf balls and from the feet of anyone walking to the screen to collect them.
The turf is a premium putting-grade surface, so the same pad that catches your shots doubles as a place to roll putts and work on speed control between full-swing sessions.
How it fits a SIG8 setup
The SIG8 is the most compact enclosure in the SIG line, at 8'4" high, 8'4" wide and 5' deep, with a recommended room of at least 10' wide, 16' long and a 9' ceiling. The landing pad covers the floor from the screen back toward the mat, and your hitting mat sits behind it. Pair it with a mat from the SIGPRO golf mats collection for a complete floor.

A Finished Floor for the SIG8
Without a landing pad, the floor in front of a simulator screen is usually whatever the room already has: bare garage concrete, carpet, or a sheet of plywood. The SIG8 landing pad replaces that with one continuous run of turf that covers the floor from the screen back toward your hitting mat. At 8'2" wide by 8' long it is cut for the SIG8 enclosure, which stands 8'4" high, 8'4" wide and 5' deep, so the turf lines up with the enclosure instead of leaving gaps at the edges. The result is a hitting bay that looks finished from the moment you step into the room. It also makes the space easier to keep clean, because balls, tees and grass clippings from shoes collect on the turf rather than scattering across the floor. Pair it with a SIGPRO mat for a full simulator floor from screen to stance.
Turf That Catches the Ball
Every full swing ends with a ball hitting the impact screen and dropping straight down. On a hard floor that ball bounces, rolls back toward the hitting area, and can end up under your feet or the launch monitor. On the landing pad it lands on 1/2" nylon turf and settles where it falls, which keeps the hitting area clear and makes collecting balls a quick walk to the screen. The same putting-grade surface means the pad is useful between full-swing sessions too: drop a few balls and work on speed control and short putts without moving anything.
