Introducing the SIGPRO Softy 4' x 10' Golf Mat
Experience the next generation of indoor golf with the SIGPRO Softy 4' x 10' Golf Mat, exclusively available at Shop Indoor Golf. This premium hitting mat is engineered for home simulators and garage setups, offering a realistic feel that emulates a well-maintained fairway, akin to the conditions found at Augusta or Pinehurst. Designed to be gentle on your joints, this mat allows for extended play sessions without discomfort. Its innovative construction also accommodates a real tee, providing golfers with the flexibility to adjust tee height to their exact preference, enhancing the authenticity of each swing.
The SIGPRO Softy is ideal for both right- and left-handed golfers, featuring a central hitting strip with stance areas on either side. This thoughtful design ensures that all players can enjoy a consistent and comfortable hitting experience. With its robust build, the SIGPRO Golf Mats have endured tens of thousands of ball strikes during testing, proving their exceptional durability. This mat is specifically crafted for indoor use and storage, making it a perfect addition to any personal golf setup.
SIGPRO Softy Design and Construction
The innovative design of the SIGPRO Softy begins with a super soft foam insert at its core. This foundational element is topped with a plush layer of 1-inch thick Teeline turf, meticulously engineered to replicate the feel of natural grass. This combination provides immediate and accurate feedback on every shot, allowing golfers to truly gauge their performance. The hitting strip, measuring 28 inches by 12 inches, is strategically positioned 24 inches from the front edge of the mat to its center, ensuring optimal placement for various swing types.
Beneath the Teeline turf lies a thin layer of ABS polyurethane, a material chosen for its ability to flex upon impact and then promptly return the turf to its original shape. This crucial feature, combined with three compression slots located underneath, effectively releases air pressure, preventing sharp vibrations or clubhead snags. The result is a hitting experience that closely mimics striking a ball from a natural fairway, providing both comfort and performance. When the hitting strip eventually shows signs of wear, it can be easily replaced with a SIGPRO Softy Hitting Strip, eliminating the need to purchase an entirely new mat.
Unmatched Durability and Realistic Feel
The SIGPRO Softy 4' x 10' Golf Mat is built for longevity and consistent performance. Our extensive testing involved hitting tens of thousands of balls off SIGPRO™ Golf Mats, confirming that durability is never a concern. This mat is designed to withstand daily use by avid golfers, providing a reliable surface for countless practice sessions. The turf density is specifically engineered to be hit on every day, ensuring it remains comfortable for all-day use.
Beyond its robust construction, the Softy hitting strip is crafted to deliver a remarkably realistic feel. It absorbs the clubhead without the harsh vibrations or snags often associated with harder practice mats. This attention to detail ensures that the ball flight observed on the mat aligns precisely with data captured by launch monitors, providing golfers with accurate feedback on their swing. The mat's ability to take a real tee at any height further enhances its authentic feel, allowing for a truly customizable and immersive golf simulation experience.
Ideal for Home and Garage Setups
The SIGPRO Softy 4' x 10' Golf Mat is an excellent choice for individuals setting up a golf simulator in their home or garage. Its generous dimensions of 4 feet by 10 feet and a thickness of 2.5 inches provide ample space for comfortable swings and stance, while its 31 lb weight ensures stability during play. The mat's design, which includes a replaceable soft-foam hitting strip and stance areas on both sides, makes it particularly suitable for households with both right- and left-handed golfers, eliminating the need for multiple mats.
This mat is specifically designed for indoor use and storage, making it a practical and long-lasting investment for your personal golf practice space. For those planning their golf simulator setup, the SIGPRO Softy offers a foundational element that prioritizes both player comfort and realistic feedback. Its ease of maintenance, with the option to replace only the hitting strip, further contributes to its suitability for dedicated home users.
The development process involved numerous hours of brainstorming and refining, ensuring that every aspect of the mat, from its soft foam insert to its durable Teeline turf, meets the highest standards. This commitment to excellence has resulted in a mat that provides the softest and most forgiving artificial turf practice strip available. The SIGPRO Softy is designed to offer a premium hitting surface that not only feels realistic but also contributes to injury prevention, allowing golfers to practice confidently and comfortably every day.

United StatesEverything I Expected
My Sigpro Softy met all my expectations providing quality materials and a realistic feel when hitting.
United StatesThe SIG Pro Softy 4x10 Golf Mat has been the perfect upgrade for my setup---hitting shots feels great on my elbows and the interlocking nature of the matt and tee sections makes for a flexible and easy setup process. The indoor golf team was quick in fulfilling the order and I would definately buy from them again.
United StatesI’ve only hit a few dozen balls so far but the hitting strip and the stance part of the mat feel awesome.
United StatesSIGPRO Softy 4' x 10' Golf Simulator Hitting Mat
I was using a fairly decent hitting mat prior to purchasing the SIGPRO Softy, but I could definitely feel those thick shots in my arms and shoulders. I don't feel any of that discomfort with the SIGPRO Softy. I can play several rounds per day in the simulator with zero issues, and I'm not concerned with injuries in the future. If you've got the cash to invest, the SIGPRO Softy is really the only way to go. PRO TIP: You probably don't need the 4' x 10' unless you plan on playing a lot of rounds where right-handed and left-handed golfers will both be playing simultaneously.
United StatesThe real deal
So far so good. Showed up quickly and packaged well. Quality looks good and feel is awesome. It’s like being on a real tee box.
