The Outdoor Target Putting & Chipping Green, which Big Moss calls the OTPG, is a portable green for your backyard or practice area. You can putt, chip and pitch on it. Big Moss makes it from a 15-year outdoor surface that it chose for durability and realistic feedback, and it is made to be left outside year-round. Big Moss built it as an affordable outdoor option for golfers of all levels who want a practice green without the cost of a full installation.
Two sizes, two cups
Choose 6' x 12' or 6' x 15'. Both sizes have 2 holes, and every green ships with 2 backyard flag sticks and cups and a 3' x 3' pitching and chipping mat. Big Moss also builds custom hole configurations and sizes, up to 12 feet wide and any length. Any size larger than 6' x 15' has to ship by freight. Call us to ask about a custom green.
Built for the short game

Three ways to set it up
- Lay the green out anywhere you want to practice, right out of the box. It does not need to be installed to work as a target green.
- Partly install it. Mark out the area with spray paint, cut the grass lower there, dig out the holes to size and set in the included cups. Then lay the green back over the area and insert the flags.
- Install it permanently into your landscape.
Big Moss describes it as an introductory self-install outdoor green, easy enough to partly install yourself.

Amateur Golfer
I very happy with my Big Moss outdoor putting green it's made real heavy duty and seem like it will last for years to come. I have made a permanent installation in my yard, I removed the grass and dug out a hole that I filled back in with fine gravel and then sand that I used a compactor to smooth and level the surface. I dig out for the cups and installed the flags now I have my own putting and chipping green!!! The green rolls the ball very well and the thick rubber mat backing makes the green soft to walk on. Chip shots check up and the included chipping mat has been fun to use. The guys from Big Moss even called me before shipping and asked how I wanted my green cut and the holes placed, I couldn't be happier with the service and the product. If you are like me and always wanted your own putting green give this a try!!!
