The General Putting Green & Chipping Mat by Big Moss
The General is another of Big Moss' traditional models: a 6' x 12' putting and chipping green with three regulation cups. Like the larger Admiral, it is built for teaching and year-round practice, and Big Moss calls it a proven device for developing the skills and mental toughness it takes to be a great golfer. Three cups in 12 feet
The General gives you three regulation cups to putt at from different angles, plus room to chip onto the green from the included chipping mat. Each regulation cup has its own cup sleeve and flag base, so the ball drops into a real cup. If you have more room, the Admiral is the same traditional design at 6' x 15'.
What the V2 changed
- Wrinkle-free surface: a new rubber-backed surface, about 28% heavier, that lays flat even over carpeting with no bubbling or bunching.
- Removable foundation: a higher-density foundation under the surface lets you practice dead-flat putts.
- Break Pads: slide them under the surface to create hundreds of terrain variations.
- Stadium backstop: wraps around the green and pins in place with golf tees.
- Upgraded chipping mat, plus new cup sleeves and flag bases for all regulation-size cups.
The cup configuration is unchanged from the earlier version.
Indoors or out
Big Moss's V2 owner's manual says the V2 surface is weather resistant, so all V2 greens are safe for outdoor use. Indoors, it performs best on a hard floor such as hardwood, tile, concrete or low-pile carpet. Thick, heavily padded carpet can make the green flex slightly underfoot, though Big Moss says the roll stays true. Vacuum it regularly, and store it in a loose, even roll with nothing heavy on top so the surface does not crimp.
Set up in minutes
Lay the surface upside down, line the foundation up with the cups and press the adhesive squares together. Then flip the green, pin the backstop with the long tees, and drop in the cup sleeves and flags. Compare it with other sizes and brands in our indoor putting greens collection.

Very Nice!
Just bought a 6x12 a few weeks back and it is perfect. Can put 15 balls at a time before I have to go pick any up. Each cup can hold 5 balls. I have a high carpet and the green still rolls true, it only sinks a little when you step on it, but that's of no concern. When I put it on cement it was perfect. Great buy with great service!

I purchased this item after speaking with owner. He suggested this green. I got it for myself as well as my son. This has become my sons (13yo) favorite thing to do. All he does is chip and putt all day. A chip in for him has become a given!!!!! A great practice tool for me and him. Thank you.
