Experience Unrivaled Immersion with the SIG12 Enclosure
The SIG12 Golf Simulator Enclosure, a premier offering within The Indoor Golf Shop's Signature Series, delivers an expansive and deeply immersive golfing experience. This enclosure is meticulously crafted to ensure the projected image completely fills the screen, eliminating any distracting white space often present in alternative systems. Unlike other setups that might leave gaps at the top or bottom, the SIG12 guarantees a 100% image fill, providing a seamless visual field for your game. Constructed from high-quality materials, the SIG12 screen offers HD quality visuals and is engineered to endure golf ball impacts at speeds up to 250 MPH. For those seeking a comprehensive setup, explore our full range of golf simulators to find the perfect complement to this enclosure.
This model stands as the largest in the SIG Signature Series, offering generous dimensions for an authentic feel. For comparison, the series also includes the more compact SIG8 and SIG10 enclosures, catering to various space requirements. When planning your ideal golf simulation area, consider consulting our guide on space requirements to ensure a comfortable and effective setup. The SIG12 is designed to provide ample overhead clearance, accommodating full driver swings without compromise, making it an excellent choice for golfers who demand realism in their indoor practice.
Advanced Impact Screen Technology
At the heart of the SIG12 enclosure is the SIGPRO Premium Impact Screen, a component that has demonstrated superior performance in rigorous testing. In independent, head-to-head evaluations conducted by the team at MyGolfSpy, the SIGPRO Premium Screen surpassed what was previously considered the industry's most popular impact screen. These tests confirmed the exceptional durability of the new SIGPRO screen, proving its resilience against repeated golf ball strikes. Beyond its robustness, the screen also significantly reduces sound and minimizes ball bounce-back, enhancing safety and comfort during play. This advanced screen technology is a key factor in creating a realistic and enjoyable golf simulation environment.
The SIGPRO Premium Screen is meticulously finished with double-stitched black vinyl edges and features grommets, which streamline the screen mounting process using the provided ball bungees. Buyers have the flexibility to choose between a SIGPRO Premium (White) or a SIGPRO Premier (Gray) Impact Screen, allowing for customization based on individual performance needs and budget. This dual-screen option ensures that every golfer can tailor their setup for optimal visual clarity and playability. For a deeper dive into screen options, explore our collection of golf impact screens.
Robust and User-Friendly Construction
The SIG12 Golf Simulator Enclosure is built with premium materials, ensuring both longevity and a polished aesthetic. The frame assembly is made remarkably straightforward thanks to color-coded push-pin poles and connectors. This innovative design simplifies the setup process, making it smoother than ever to erect your enclosure. The inclusion of these color-coded pipe kits means less time spent on assembly and more time dedicated to improving your golf game. For those who prefer professional assistance, we offer professional assembly and installation services.
To complete the refined appearance of your setup, the SIG Surround, crafted from a durable vinyl material, fits neatly around the enclosure. This component not only contributes to a clean and finished look but also connects seamlessly with your screen and enclosure. Furthermore, each enclosure kit now includes protective foam padding, which attaches to the left, right, top, and bottom edges of your screen. This padding is crucial for safeguarding the poles behind the screen and the surround from any errant shots, adding an extra layer of protection to your investment. Consider adding golf simulator wall padding for additional safety in your space.
Optimized Dimensions for Serious Golfers
The SIG12 Enclosure is designed to accommodate a wide range of spaces, though it is essential to verify your room's ceiling height and overall width. The full enclosure measures 12 feet 2 inches wide, 9 feet 4 inches tall, and 5 feet deep, providing a substantial area for an immersive experience. The screen itself has a width of 11 feet 5 inches and a height of 8 feet 7 inches, with a diagonal measurement of 14 feet 3 inches. This generous screen size ensures that the projected image is large and impactful, enhancing the realism of your virtual golf rounds. For precise planning, utilize our screen size calculator to match the enclosure with your projector and room dimensions.
While the SIG12 generally fits into most spaces, golfers should ensure they have adequate room to swing their clubs comfortably. Depending on your swing dynamics, you might require ceiling heights exceeding 10 feet. The enclosure's depth of 16 feet allows for sufficient space behind the hitting area. Assembly of the SIG12 is estimated to take approximately 2 to 3 hours with two people, a slightly longer duration than the SIG8 or SIG10 due to its larger size. A ladder is recommended for reaching the 9-foot 4-inch height during installation. Detailed assembly instructions and video walkthroughs are provided to guide you through the process, ensuring a smooth setup for your golf simulator enclosure.

Amazing Product
For me it was confusing with all of the golf simulator stuff, different set ups and at different price points. I can say someone that’s wants something easy to put together and amazing looking this is a great buy! The pictures don’t do it justice for how big this thing is and the project mats everything is great.

Great Simulator Bay
Purchased the SIG12 with ease. Very easy setup, took about 30 minutes.
SIG 12 Golf Enclosure
I am completely satisfied with this product. Solid, well built, with clear instructions. You really DO need two people to assemble, as the instructions indicate, so don't try too much alone!
The Indoor Golf Shop
Hello Mr. John, Thank you for your great review of the SIG 12 Golf Enclosure! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re completely satisfied with the product and that you found it solid and well-built. We’re also glad the instructions were clear and helpful. Your tip about needing two people for assembly is valuable and will certainly help others with their setup. If you have any further questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Best regards, The Indoor Golf Shop Team
Solid Enclosure!
We installed the SIG 12 enclosure last night in my garage. It seems to be very durable. It accepts the golf shot as expected. The only concern I had is that the poles seems to have a lot of pressure on them and have even bent a little bit. I do not think it will affect performance at all. Installation is fairly easy, but I would recommend having one person help you to make the process a little easier. I'm a perfectionist so it took about 3 hours total to get everything aligned and the pads perfectly square. I looking forward to many rounds ahead...after I purchase my projector:)

Learn More About The SIG12 Golf Simulator Enclosure

SIG™ Premium or Premier Impact Screen
Every SIG12 comes with our SIGPRO™ Premium impact screen, sized to the enclosure at 11'5" x 8'7" (4:3) and cut, sewn and finished by Shop Indoor Golf. The Premium is a three-layer screen, two heavy-duty polyester faces with vertical spacer yarns between them, 3.54 mm thick, so it cushions every strike, stays quiet, sends less of the ball back at you and gives your projector a smooth surface for a sharp picture. In independent, head-to-head testing by MyGolfSpy, the SIGPRO™ Premium outperformed what had been the industry's most popular impact screen, with better durability and reduced sound and bounce-back.
The gray SIGPRO™ Premier is available as an upgrade when you order your SIG12. It uses the same three-layer build with a gray face that absorbs ambient light, the better choice for a room you can't fully darken. Either screen is finished with double-stitched black vinyl edges and grommets and carries our 1-year residential warranty.

Premium Surround & 6" Ball Bungees
The SIG12's premium surround wraps the frame around your screen, so the bay looks finished from every angle instead of showing bare poles. It is made of durable vinyl and is sized to the enclosure, closing the space between the screen and the frame so your projected image sits inside a clean, dark border.
Everything hangs with the included 6" ball bungees: loop one through each grommet on the screen and the surround and around the frame. The bungees hold the screen evenly tensioned for a flat picture, give a little on impact so the screen can absorb the ball, and come off in seconds if you ever need to take the screen down to clean or move it. Together with the protective foam padding, the surround also helps cut down on bounce-back and noise.

Color-Coded Push Pin Poles & Connectors
The SIG12 frame is aluminum and freestanding: it stands on its own, so there is nothing to anchor to your walls or ceiling. Each pole and connector is color-coded and joins with a push pin, so you match the colors, push the pins home and the frame goes together without measuring or cutting.
Assembled, the SIG12 measures 12'2" wide, 9'4" high and 5' deep. We recommend a room at least 14' wide, 20' deep and 10' high so you have space to swing, and the assembly manual and video on our support site walk you through every step, from the frame to hanging the screen and surround. Need a different size? Our DIY and commercial enclosures are built to custom dimensions.

Protective Foam Padding
Every SIG12 kit includes protective foam padding that attaches along the left, right, top and bottom of the screen. It covers the poles that sit just behind the edges of the screen and surround, so a mishit that catches the edge of the bay hits padding instead of bare frame.
That protects more than the frame. A ball that hits a pole can come back hard and fast; the padding absorbs it, which keeps the ball from rebounding at you, protects your screen and surround from wear at the edges, and quiets the strike. It is one of the details that makes a home bay feel like a finished simulator rather than a frame and a screen, and it comes in the box, ready to fit, with nothing extra to order.
